Singapore Airlines Passenger Dies in London-Singapore Flight
Emergency Landing at Heathrow Airport
One passenger has died and six others were seriously injured as Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 made an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport in London on Thursday, August 10th. The flight had departed from Singapore Changi Airport and was bound for Los Angeles International Airport.
Cause of Incident Under Investigation
The cause of the incident is still under investigation, but it is believed that a technical issue with the aircraft may have contributed to the emergency landing. The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft involved in the incident has been impounded by authorities for further inspection.
The injured passengers were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, while the deceased passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The airline has expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased passenger and is providing support to all those affected by the incident.
