Former councillor Terry Hurley to lead Brampton Fire and Emergency Services
NOTL Town Councillor Terry Hurley has resigned from his position to become the new Fire Chief of Brampton Fire and Emergency Services.

Hurley brings a wealth of experience to the role
Hurley has over 30 years of experience in the fire service, including 10 years as Fire Chief of the Town of Pelham. He is also a past president of the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs and the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs.
In his new role, Hurley will be responsible for leading a team of over 600 firefighters and staff in providing fire and emergency services to the City of Brampton.
Hurley says he is excited about the opportunity to lead Brampton Fire and Emergency Services and is looking forward to working with the team to provide the best possible service to the community.
"I am honoured to have been selected as the new Fire Chief of Brampton Fire and Emergency Services," said Hurley. "I look forward to working with the team to provide the best possible service to the community."
Hurley's resignation from NOTL council is effective immediately. A by-election will be held to fill his seat.
